Hi, the power valve on my NSR broke this morning Sad

I noticed this when i switched on the ignition (sp?) the motor turned but it didn't seem as long as usaual, when i had a look, the motor turned but the main wheel at the top with the wire connected to it didn't move. When I looked at it, one of the axels that keeps all the cogs in place has come through the wall and was poking out of the top of the unit.
will i be able to get it fixed under warrently Question
02NSR every service up to date

They just dont make em like the old ones Wink

Will they need to fit a new barrel to fix that then?
or are they able to just fix the RC valve?

I would but i like my bike too much

I guess they will just have to fit a new servo case as the mechanisim its self is fine, its just a axel which has some how pushed its way through the servo casing which is stopping the gears for meshing to move the valve.
what wonderful timing to have my bike break on me, Got all my Deadlines this week as well Evil or Very Mad

P.S will having an inop Power Valve do some nasty damage to the engine as long as i stay below 7K???
thanks

I would imagine it should still run.
providing it doesnt get sucked back into the cylinder.

all it would mean is after about 7'000 you'd have no power increase really.
and idling might prove a struggle for the bike.

thats if everything else is fine...
