Just had to take my Scott Gloves back, as they managed to develop a rip in the cuff after a week of wear, and all the white dye has disappeared off of the fingers.

As they can't replace em with black ones, I got refunded, looking for some summer gloves at around the £60-80 mark, what's good?

I've got some Alpinestars SP-1 that I bought nearly 3 years ago and they're still going strong, and look almost as new. Pretty cool looking too with carbon fibre knuckle protectors and Kevlar panels dotted about the place. Comfiest summer gloves I've ever worn too Thumbs Up

However they were about 80 quid I think when I got them so not cheap Confused

I ride everyday in a pair of Richa summer gloves. They weren't cheap but they really fit well and hold together. Thumbs Up

My pair of halverssons dinos held up nicely in a ~ 40 lowside (where I did the hands out in front thing, so they took a battering) 50 odd quid from the internet, though I dont know any chains that stock em, so good luck finding some to try for size.

Got some joe rocket speedmaster 6.0 gloves from infinity for £50 down from £120.

If your near an infinity check it out as their getting rid of stock and some have an outlet centre inside aswell now with MASSIVE bargains Thumbs Up

Mine stood up to the crash the other day, hands are completely fine and the gloves not even scuffed so 10/10 for them.

My summer gloves of choice are Alpinestars SMX or my GP Pro's.

I wear some FT summer gloves that I bought for £45 last year sadly they began to split at the seams almost immediately, but the missus put a stitch in time and saved them for me. I also have a pair of HG Xtrafit Goretex gloves which although not a summer glove are thin enough to be comfortable in a British "summer", HG also do a summer version of these gloves (£45-65).

My weisse gloves have lasted me nearly 2 years now and they`ve only just started to fray. Can`t remember the name of them anymore though.
I dont see the point in buying different gloves for different seasons....waste of money. Why don`t you just get 1 set of vented gloves for year round and wear thermal liners in winter?

I got a pair of alpinestars abroad, cost me about £40, comfortable, cool, armoured and look the dogs. I'm not too sure of the model, think they were called 'Octane sw' or something similar.

Would recommend

Dainese M-19's. Cost me £59.99 but could probably be found cheaper online.

I like the fact they don't have the wrist section, so keep you a lot cooler.

Ordered the Spidi 3Composite from Sportsbikeshop at the moment, if they don't work out I'll get the A* GP, Hein Gericke are the only ones near me that do the A* gloves, and I want to avoid them... LOL.

Can't fault my SP1s. It was a massive shock wearing them for the first time after wearing Pathans + HG over-gloves during winter though. I could feel everything.

Bit late, but I'd have recommended the two previous versions of Joe Rocket's "speed master" gloves.
