Alright people, i have a problem.
2day i sat on the NSR of my dreams 2001 model, and in 2 months i plan to get either a 2001 or 2002 model.
However, i can afford insurance and all the extras, but i cannot afford the bike and my parents are tight wankers! Fuck getting the bus for the next year, i will rob a fucking bank if i have to, but the point is theres gotta be an easier way... you guys got any suggestions or stories of your own??
Thanx a lot, Tony...

Buy an older model , apart from the paint jobs they're practically the same and in some cases the older paint jobs look alot better.
Plus a fraction of the cost.
Dont go buying a new bike , you'll more than likely come off it REAL quick seeing as its the first bike and will end up paying thru your ass to fix it.

Thanx for the replies...
At 17 i have little chance of getting a loan, but what seems to be more reality is that i'm looking into a 2nd job this weekend, with college and 2 jobs i'l be a little fucked but hey ' life aint easy, lifes a bitch!'. I'm sure it'll be worth it for the NSR, ive looked at the older models but i really do like the newer ones although you do bring forward a good point of me wiping!
This could be the story of my life... oh well... Best wishes and happy riding!

Buying second hand has its ups and downs obviously but buying a second hand 2 stroke is more risky than buying 4 stroke..be it car or bike.
Not that i'm tryin to put you off but 2 strokes dont have a very long life compaired to 4s'.
NSRs live the majority of their lives above 10,000rpm (well at least mine did).
So if you are goin to buy second hand make sure your not buying a bike in need of alot of attention.
Not forgetting that imports are expensive to de-restrict compaired to uk that only need a drill and some elbow grease
Hope it works out for you in the end though
