Got my bike out the other day and it wouldnt start using the electric start. If i hold the button down it slowly dies Sad

When i turn the ignition on, the inidicators work but the horn sounds like its dying too so im guessing its the battery? What do you think? Confused

I put the battery on charge and after a few minutes it said fully charged which cant be right, maybe it isnt holding the charge or something...

I can bump start it fine btw, dont know if that matters Confused

Any help appreciated, cheers people Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I had a similar problem. I have a TZR 50 and i had been riding my bike to my uncles because i wanted him to have a look at something. Got there, he had a look. Was getting ready to go back home.
Went to start it and the thing was dead! But i had just rode the thing for 10mins and its a small battery so it would have atleast half charged it.

Got home put it on charge and it said the battery was full :S

Its working now though. I bumped it off and drove it home. It must of charged on the way.

So how come it lost charge so quick? And by anychance do battery charges automatically say these small batteries are full lol?

i no its a bit off topic!

I had a similar problem when my cg125's battery died. I assumed it was something like a rechargable battery that loses it's maximum capacity over time. Either way just got a new one and it fixed it

check the fluid levels in the battery, might be your problem.

Small bikes are renounded for having tiny batteries that lose voltage very quickly. Rolling Eyes
