Hi, my daughter wants to buy a 1974 cb360 but only has a 33bhp licence (18 year old)
I have tried to find out the bhp on a cb360G and have found many answers from 34 hp to 26 hp and one of 34bhp and 24.8kw which is under 25 kw max so does anyone know if she can legally ride a cb360?

Wiki says 32bhp, that was 30 odd years ago. It will be fine.

Thanks for the reply's, i didn't think they were over about 30 at the crank (about 27 at the wheel) but wasn't sure what the DVLA and police went by.
Do they measure from the crank or wheel?.
thanks

They don't specify, more than likely tested at the wheel if you get dynoed, as crank dyno's are expensive/rare/impossible to set up etc...

Cheers

Never found anything legal about which they use. However I would assume that it is meant to match the homologation power outputs which are supposedly measured at the crank.

All the best

Dave you are aware that you just brought to the attention of an entire messageboard of overactive hormones that

a) Your daughter is 18

b) holds a bike licence

and

c) She has good taste in bikes

That could be an error... Twisted Evil

He didn't include pics so he has done something right. Tutton won't leave him alone now and luke will claim to be "Hanging out of her" by the end of the week
