Ask Alains on here, he's pretty much the expert on the NS and NSR.
But first of all I would be checking for signs of corrosion/damage around the swingarm pivots, rear suspension mounts and headstock.
There's no point spending money on a bike with a fucked frame.

Spluttering - check fuel pipes/tank/carbs.
EDIT - Alains covered it
Also, fairings look mint but please, change them back indicators.
I had my screen held with number plate screws(black and white ones) cos they were easiest to tighten up without damaging anything  ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies.
