Well last night on my way home from my girlfriends, about 2miles from home, turned into the junction which leads to Tetney off the A16, the next thing I know the bikes the slipping then spins throws me off, que me flying about 10 - 15ft landing on my back, then I do the usual thing jump up and pick the bike up, then i get an extreme pain in my leg sit down next to a bollard and phone my home, just after talking to me dad on the phone, i look at the bike and realise that there is a nice pool of oil leaking out of it, from under the engine. Went to hospital, my leg aint broken just fooking hurts a lot, but can walk again today.

The ironic thing is, the bike was due to be signed over to one of the blokes that i work with, so now i have to explain why there possibly isnt a gearbox or bottom of his engine left.

Just got the thing home, give it a check over and the fucking sump plug is missing, now i aint the smartest person on this planet bu how the hell does your sump plug just "fall" out, i'm begging to smell foul play after, my tyres have been let down twice and the rear wheel undone.

The other damage is: -
Bent bars
Broken indy
broken LS foot rest

and probly more when i give it a proper look.

Well the thing is finally sorted, starts runs and well is chugging a lot of blue smoke!!!

IS this serious or should i just rag it until it dies?
The reason that i'm asking this is im just about to undertake my nightly trip to Louth about 13miles away and dont want the bloody thing to die, so please reply asap.

Time to get a torque wrench so the sump bolt can be done up properly next time. And it can also be used for tightening up the rear axle correctly.

Not sure if this works in a bike might cock this up ill wait for someone else to ok this or not before you do it,

but when my brothers car smashed his sump up on a badger and ran on no oil for a bit, we bought the thickest oil we could and ran it through a few times, put some down the plug hole too to make sure it was getting to the piston and it wasnt running completely dry, sqeaked for about 5 mins then was fine after, replaced top end bearing and all was dandy. but surely if your bike ran out of oil it should have seized up by now? if it hasnt id watch out for nasty noises incase it has,
