well this is a boring thread sorry guys, but i ride my motorcycle with my girlfriend 90% of the time i have a bandit 650, and was wondering what diffrance it makes havein an extra person on,
I get ruffly 160 ish miles with her on the back but cant rember when u rode to work daily what mpg i got, i sware it was like 220 or higher.

whats think guys?
also do you think riding with some one elce all the time damages any thing?

Shocked I only got 120miles at most riding a 650 bandit.

Hi

Would suspect it will depend on where you are riding. Long cruise at constant speed it will probably not make a great amount of difference. Round town I suspect it would be rather more noticeable.

I would be very surprised if you got 220 miles on a tank full.

Extra weight of a pillion will probably wear out tyres more rapidly.

I get about 150 out of the SV650 without a pillion and only 125 with before the fuel light starts nagging.
