Yamaha YZ 250 no clutch

I have a YZ 250 not sure of the year (engine num is : 2HH-022221 maybe somebody can tell me the year too).

Anyway the bike has been standing for about 3 years. I got it started and running fine but there is no clutch. The cable and adjustment is fine and there is resistance on the lever when the clutch is pulled in so everything feels normal. When I pull the clutch in and select a gear the bike jumps into gear as if the clutch was not pulled in. I adjusted the clutch to the max and no difference. It just seems strange to me that the clutch was working fine when i last rode the bike. Maybe something is jammed or stuck inside.

Any ideas of what it could be?

The clutch is prolly just stuck from no use, check the gear oil (new may help) I have had it before on a Honda H100, had to whack it 1st an bump start, with the clutch in till it freed up, though on a motocross bike I don't know if it would be to good as the Honda was just a old banger.
