Big story in the local news up here in Oldham. The recievers have been called into a local developmers. Not just any developers tho. This one is behind 4 major projects in the towns "regeneration".
They're also the shirt sponsors of Oldham Athletic.
Hillstone developments
Seems that staff only found out today that they've been working for free for the last month as they're not getting paid, plus they've got no jobs. Latics dont have to worry tho, as it would seem the sponsorship money is paid up til next year!.
The firms 2 directors have not been seen for a week now, No doubt they're sat in the sun somewhere drowning their sorrows.
It was only last week the local council bosses were rejoicing the coming of the metrolink, and the money it was going to bring.
Hillstone were obviously banking on this, and were converting old derelict buildings into luxury apartments, with prices way beyond the average Oldham wage.
Oldham council seem to want to turn Oldham into a mini Manchester, and now it looks like we'll have our own unsold flats everywhere, just like Manchester.

That would be the time for me to go and find the directors and exsanguinate them. Preferably whilst they are hanging from the ceiling by their feet.

Thinking about it, I'm glad I'm not a company director! Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

My mate got shot (by an air rifle) from a window as he walked past somwhere in Hurst Cross. It's rough round there Laughing I dread riding my bike through it, especially when there's some chavs sat on a wall and they all look at you as you ride past, makes me think they are going to hunt my bike(s) down and steal them Embarassed

I'm on Hartshead estate which isn't great either but it's better.
