Got Licence Now What bike

Just got my licence and have been looking at the aprillia pegaso 650

Anyone got any experience with them eg getting parts and how much maintenance i will need to do its gonna be used during the summer march - october for gettng to work and light offroading (gravel tracks)

i have seen a few for between 1200 - 1400 on 02 plates is this value for money or will i been buying a lemon and will i need to do regualr engine rebuilds like the rs road bikes



also been looking at KLR650s but they seem few and far between and the ones i find are pre 90s models

Any advice would be greatly apreciated
