Are the denso iridium spark plugs any good? They claim to be able to imrpove the performance of an engine quite a bit, and mine has had a hard life so far, due to not knowing what to do (i now have the haynes manual) and I've got a proper tool kit.

I was just wondering if it was worth spending £10 on them or seeing how much the normal ones from honda are. My engine needs all the help it can get, no 125 engne likes 6000 miles in 5 months with only one oil top up.

Also, is it quite an easy job to replace the chain and sprockets. Haynes makes it seem easy, but it's quite an important part of the bike. I've trained more on the electrical side of engineering and not on the mechanical side.

Heres to making my royal duchess (long story) feel better Thumbs Up

changing the sparkies on my cbr 125 didn't make any sort of difference, only real difference was changing the air filter and all that did was make the bike just that little bit smoother other than that not really worth it.

Save your dosh and stick with the normal plugs. Denso iridium plugs will make naff all difference on your bike in my opinion.

i went to honda and got theirs in the end.

Also got quoted £65 for a chain & sprocket set (£117 fitted). Is this good value or me been ripped off? Any idea how long the bike would be out of use for (2-3 hrs maybe)
