South East - Hindhead Route - First Trip

Finally got to ride the 'long route' to Hindhead.
Great day off work - Sunny, Warm and Dry.
Ridden by Joe, Tatters and myself (a recce before Sundays big ride)

Ride gets off to a cracking 8am start with me having a puncture at Newlands
Luckily I had bought some new tyre weld the day before, after using my last lot on G's KTM.. that stuff is a ride saver

The Sandy section - this picture does not capture the DEEP sand bits - very 'squirelly' and you will bog down if taken slowly .. but great fun

The dreaded 'steps' - have defeated lesser men (rumour has it that one rider had a TRF leader take his bike down for him) .. but we tackled it with gusto and all got down safely:

Nice ride overall - chatted to local people - made no impact on enviroment - just had some fun on the few lanes left open to us .. ... then .. BASTARDS
(It was brand new and still has oil on the nail heads !)
