Ok I need to know a couple of things, i bought some clip ons from ebay for my GS, i'd like to mount them ontop of the upper yoke but theres a plate in the way which supports the guages/idiot lights etc.

Obviously removing this plate and the guages would allow me to put the clip ons ontop of the top yoke, however this means finding an alternative to the guages which im happy to do!

Problem is i have about 8 different things up there, and im not sure which i need.

I have my speedo, tripometer, mileage, redliney thingy (rev counter) and then my idiots lights (indi's, high beam, neutral and oil)

So, what do i need by law, just a speedo?

I quite want to keep my mileage thingy too, so buyers in the future know the bikes genuine but if i scrap the clocks is there any way of doing this?

Tar.

p.s. i might just cut the dash in half, keeping the idiot lights (relocating them into the top yoke) and perhaps make the speedo/milage thingy central down the bike.

You only require a speedo by law, all the others are nice but not required. Perhaps make yourself a mounting plate for the clocks and keep everything?

I think that just putting the clip ons under the top yoke will be the easy way around it, it'll lower the rider stance about 4" as well but could prove uncomfy, id rather not have to fabricate anything else for a while lol! Mr. Green
