Where do i get fzr 1987 parts and also, what have i got ????

1987 fzr400. frame number says its a 1wg - 013818

i here so much about import, exup, et etc but dont have a clue, what i have ...lol

Are parts getting hard to find, for this model? Fowlers said they did not sale the front sprocket shaft any more. Front sprockets are hard to come by, as is chain and rear sprocket...?????????????

Hi

The FZR400 was not generally imported to the UK (a tiny number of the early 1990s model were officially imported). It was a Japanese domestic market model, and so they are 2nd hand imports from Japan.

It would not surprise me if the parts are shared with other bikes (plenty of internal engine bits for the FZR600 3HE are marked 1WG as the model they were orginally designed for).

If Fowlers can't help then try Granby Motors in Ilkeston.
