Hi There ,
I'm new to this or any other forum so please be patient with me.
I have Honda 1988 CB 350 import.
It has recently developed a fault, Engine starts and idles OK but there is a noticable loss of power at times, usually after stopping at lights junctions etc feels like bogging down, with 1 cylinder down but still firing, sometimes the power will return without warning. When power is down top speed = 55mph max.
Stripped inspected carbs and all looked fine
airbox clean with no obstructions
new plugs fitted and colour indicates mixture is correct
don't know what to try next.
Advice please

cheers

Kev

try HT leads and caps, i'd also have a quick look at the connections to the cdi/coil, to see if there's a connector loose etc. (this happened to me at silly speeds and i thought i'd blown my engine up. Embarassed )
