I am amfter something to stop my visor from fogging, I was going to use the fog tech wipes but have heard abotu the universal pinlock diy kit has anyone used this ?

Just a note about them. You need to have a small drilled hole for the 'excentric pins' in the visor. Some visors already have these on so you can simply slip the pinlock in but if you don't have them you'll have a tricky job making them.

apprantly you get a template and a suitable drill bit in this kit as its designed for visotrd without the pinlock holes so it can`t be that hard to drill 2 holes really Very Happy

Pinlocks are awesome, I would struggle to buy a new visor without one

I was recommended www.racingvisors.co.uk for the pinlock inserts (I already had the pinlock pins in my Shoei). I was told it's quite easy to drill the holes if I'd needed to.

I've now got a shaped (used to get the top edge in your line of sight) tinted pinlock insert and have to carry just the clear insert, rather than a clear visor for night time - much easier.

...and I agree I wouldn't be without one now, they're brilliant!
