As per title, does anybody know what header pipes i can fit to my thunderace? i wouldent mind stainless ones, but doesnt really matter, neither does having the Exup. - I did think of R1, but AFAIK either the ace or the r1 has an offset camchain so the middle pipes will be further?
Also thought of FZR 1000 exup, but these seem scarce However, i do know these fit.!

Any ideas or anything?

Probably you only realistic choice is FZR1000.

OW01 pipes will fit but you'll need an OW01 sump too. This might be the case with YZF750 ones too.

Old 1000 Genesis or FZ750 pipes might fit but I couldnt say 100%

@ Virus, Not Blasphemy, Just the fact that im limited with options with standard pipes due to Exup location and Full lengh piping to end can, Whereas the others end after exup. - And i would rather not butcher these pipes as they are good condition and can be put back on at some point, or sold.

@ Mick, Thanks, Are these interchangeable with the Exup 1000 then?? Because through common knowledge i know that you can put any year exup 1000 pipes on and move the rad mount slightly forward.

As far as I know the RU EXUP exhaust is pretty much identical header wise but the EXUP can is a slip on where as the ace is flanged so you would need to be buying a can too.

Hi

FZR1000EXUP is your only real choice. Original FZR1000 had no EXUP so expect a large hole in the mid range. OW01 and YZY750 rev a bit higher so would push power a bit higher up the rev range (and even if you could get R1 pipes to fit they would likely do that even more so). FZ750 would likely have both issues.

All the best

Keith

Thanks guys, Much apreciated , ill have to just hold out for the fzr1000 pipes.

Mick, thats the main reason i want the pipes, it ends right after the Exup and gives me more choice.
