Amended slightly. I suspect I would have got away with it fine, but better safe than sorry I suppose.

Also 1994 Kawasaki Black isn't the best title. Bear in mind that ebay search is now shite and no one will know its a KLR 250 unless you say in the title.

Nah it's helpful, I probably wouldn't have noticed the topic had changed back in MarJay hadn't said.

It happened when I sold my gixxer too, when you put in a number plate when you edit the listing it changes the title back to the original.

Hopefully it'll sell!

Yup - I hope it will sell to me!

I saw the websiet on the bottom of the number plate last night and checked your site out.... Smile

Bidder 4 upped the anty again last night, same time as the previous nights .... I smell scam.

I will keep an eye on things up until the end, but please bear me in mind for a "Second Chance" offer if the weirdo who bids large amounts of money against himself turns out to be as I suspect a Nigerian scammer. Checked through some old e-mails last night and we received a similar one about an XJR 1200 Jules had on e-bay being air or watercooled , then after they bid a mad amount of money we got the Western Union scam sent to us.

If it all pans out okay , such is life , and you have a good price for it, and I am still looking for the bike I now know I want as my commuting bike but if not gimme a shout and the money will be staright into your Paypal account as soon as the phone is turned off Smile

I saw your bid! And tbh I hope the bike sells to you! Someone who understands and will love the bike.

I am suspicious of the winning guy at the moment. For those playing at home he sent me a question which said "HI IS IT AIR OR WATER COOLED?"

And has since made LOADS of bids. In fact 6 for the same amount.

But he does have 68 feedbacks, and 100% so who knows.
But of course, you're top of my second chance offer list if he does win and turns out to have a rich Nigerian uncle who wants me to hold half of his estate in return for a reward!

Cheers for that, I really liked the short ride I had , lots of fun , and olny manage to use 4 of the gears as it sounds so good in the middle rev range Very Happy

I always prefer to sell to and buy from those who have the feel for the bike, and just hope it doesn't go to some numpty who kills it.

Looks like you had fun at the enduro, pity you can't afford to keep it , suppose it's a lack of space and dead money. Alaways a pity to keep a spare bike in the elments, they deserve to be warm and dry when not in use .... and there is a nice warm and dry spot in our new garage it would fit in so sweetly as well... Very Happy

Could have aced them at nine... never mind.

But why all the bids for a bike they evidently know nothing about or have never even seen ???

I really don't know, and I must say I'm full of scepticism.

I just had another question asking if it's air or water cooled. Do these people not use google?

I don't want to be too patronising in my response in case they win and I have to be nice to them when they pick it up.

I just emailed the guy basically to see if he's legit. Hope I get a response before the auction finishes.

Bidding has gone much higher than I expected, although it's still less than I paid for it.

Time will tell.
