Hi all,

I've been using the search function and can't find any definitive answer so I thought I'd ask directly.

Just passed my A2 so I'm looking to trade up from my 125.
I've always liked the look of the Bandits, so... ...

my question is how do they take to being restricted down to 33bhp?- either the 400cc or 600cc version?
any help much appreciated

cheers

John

Bandits are a great starter bike after your restricted test. 400 is easier to restrict and nearer to its natural hp so the difference in power would be acceptable. The 600 is a bigger bike and can be restricted and reving out is where the main difference would be, but for main riding and not hooning around that too would be reasonable. How tall are you because the 600 is a bigger bike than the 400 so get someone to take a pic on their mobile side on to see if you fit it properly. Its hard enough to get your license and you want to look okay and fit well. Insurance is another issue to investigate to see what you can afford. I am 6'2" and a bandit 600 is good fit. Hope this helps, ride safe
