there is one that is not too far...

There are three reputable wheelie schools. They are called IIRC:

The Wheelie school: https://www.thewheelieschool.co.uk/contact.html

South Coast Stunt Wheelie school: https://www.southcoastwheelies.co.uk/news.html

Jimmy Fireblade wheelie school https://www.jimmyfireblade.co.uk/

The Wheelie school is nearest to you, its around the M25 a bit in Hertfordshire. I hear its one of the better ones, but it does teach power wheelies and not clutch wheelies.

I believe the other two teach clutch wheelies as opposed to power wheelies, but I reckon they are all probably much of a muchness. I believe its the Hertfordshire one that uses the same area as Sparks! Sometimes uses to practice...

Although I could be wrong on that one...

If you are in a smaller group and master power wheelies quickly, then will show you clutch wheelies, as well as stand up etc. Depends on the instructor and how quickly the class progresses, bearing in mind most of the rider have probably never intentionally pulled a wheelie.

G would be a better person for you, living in Reading and all. Plus I suspect he's been wheelying a lot longer than Luke has!Wink

In the old days we used to go up to the industrial estate off of Portman Road and practice, but since G broke his leg etc (racing) it has fallen by the wayside a bit.

We should start up again sometime I suppose...

He can wheelie, but there are obviously people around who can wheelie better than he can. Doesn't mean he's a sham, it means he was the first to make a business out of being able to wheelie.

Wish I could think of a business idea as original as that was when he came up with it. Now every other 'stunta' around is setting 'em up.

Without sounding like a retard (I mean it seriously)

Is it really that difficult then?

Looks like that jimmy fireblade just dips the clutch a tad and away he goes Embarassed

PS:obviously i dont mean on a GS125 But im intending on getting a K1GSXR600 <--- on a vehicle like that

Its all psychological. I know the theory, but in practice its a LOT harder than you think. I can get the front wheel up, but keeping it there is not easy at all. If you don't care about your bike then its easier admittedly.

Same, I have the entire theory in my head. Getting it up, carrying it and landing it. Like fuck can I do it though.

You said not to start with power wheelies! Laughing

But yeh I have all that in my head, can't do it though, as Marjay said, I guess I care about my bike too much and so I don't put my all into doing it, it's kinda half hearted in the hope it'll just 'happen'

It doesn't just 'happen' you need to put real effort in unfortunately.

Not sure where to get them from but iv heard you can buy these like "Wheelie Masters" things its basically a springy rod that hangs off the back of your bike, an if you've given it too much throttle it momentarily cuts engine power so you dont flip it

Yeah if you do it really quickly (which I suspect is how most people flip, before they realise it's too late) then it'd just flip and not even have time to cut out
