So i see an ad about mirroring bike no claims to a car through carol nash and decide what the hell, i'll give em a ring.

They can only do it if the bike it on a policy with them so i got my quotes for the bikes with them too.
Now, i happen to be bidding on an mv f4 s at the mo so got a quote from them for it, with 4 years no claims it came to the *cough* reasonable *cough* sum of ten grand Shocked

And just to rub it in, the car quotes were higher than ones i've got without any ncb.

Grrrrrrr.

On a side note, confused.com came up with one of £1100 for the MV Thumbs Up

Quick question.

Car NCB of upmpteen years.

Sold car, not buying another car so cancelled policy.

Can I use the NCB from the car and transfer them to the policy for the bike?

You can with eCar (pretty sure) i think they all have to be with the same insurer which i'm guessing they are.

Some others;

Car was with Privilege and bikes with Bikewise (Adrian Flux).

My NCB will last for 2 years or so I'm told, I just need to tell the next insurance company that I didn't need a car for that time.

The bike is cheap enough I suppose and this will be going hopefully shortly when off to Oz as well but having everything in one letter / policy may be better or worse maybe, that is of we ever come back.

Possibly, come by the f41000 really cheap, so tempted by a piece of motorcycle art Shifty

Might look into ebike/ecar, how do you do it with them then?
