On baffles, perhaps you should make the distinction between the actual wadding material and the removable baffle part.

The wadding(the bit you repack) cannot be removed and if you did it would affect the power greatly.

The removable baffle is just the small tube of metal that cuts noise and power slightly.

Was that just for me? Very Happy
As far as I know Ariel were the only factory to use the Sq4 configuration although Matchless used a V4 in a square config.

No, it wasn't. Very Happy But, if you look closely now, you might spot a couple of entries just for you....

On a techy/anorak note: Weren't the RG500s (Gammas) square 4s too?

General note: few more added - chicken strips, filtering etc. At present i have no plans for a 'LukeVFR' entry, as i consider his 'custom title' to be far more succinct than i could ever manage.

Naaah, the tubby ex-pat hasn't posted that photo of his gixer in ages! If he does show his (moonpie)face again, i'll happily add 'photowhore' to the list.

On a Yankee-doodle side note, i've added Biker's Poem to the list.

Probably a 70s Kawasaki triple. Useful, but disturbed and capable of extreme violence.

All the best

Suzuki RG500?

That was answered back in 2008. If you read the thread there's a nice picture of an RG500 engine posted by Big Ham.

That Kalecoauto site is hilarious.

I wanna kit out the bus in Porcupine seat covers and go round Leeds with in a Trigger Happy style way. Mr. Green

A bike version would make an ideal anti-theft device and i'd pay to see some unsuspecting thief not notice and sit on it Laughing Laughing
