Well i finally picked up my 91 zxr750 this afternoon at 2 oclock and took it for a reasonable run about an hour just to get the feel of it.
Everything was running great until i decided on taking it out for another spin this evening and now it wont idle. I can ride it keeping the revs up with the throttle but but it wont idle even when warm.
A few other symptoms are it bogs down a little at 4000 rpm then picks back up and putting the choke on only makes it jerk and splutter.

Any suggestions would be really helpfull because the only thing i did this afternoon was wash it.

Many thanks

First thing, when the bikes warm don't use the choke or it will start to cough and fart.

There is an idle screw by your right knee when riding, you may of knocked it a little. However as you mention a flat spot it could just need the carbs to balanced.

Has it an aftermarket can fitted?

Lastly, whats it like, fucking great aint they!
