Hey i got a nc30 and somebody ran over the front end of it i was wondering if anyone knew waht kind of tools i would need to take apart the front end and see the damage. it is bent thats for sure but i want to know what parts im going to need will a sprocket set do it? Very Happy

If your just taking the forks off a socket set will pretty much do it apart from the odd hex key.

If you want to remove the yokes it depends on how much you want to bodge it.

NC30 front end is held together with 10mm and 13mm nuts/bolts. And a few allen bolts.

You will need to take the fairings off first really, This will a, prevent any damage to them, and b, help you get to the nuts/bolts to remove other parts.

You will also need an abba stand to remove the front forks. Or if you are in a garage with a load bearing roof with joists, Then some ratchet straps under the steam on the frame, and up to the roof, Tighten until the front wheel is hovering then start taking it apart. Thumbs Up


From the sounds of your technical use of words, This is your first time at taking a bike apart?

I advise you get a Haynes manual, And take pictures as you take it apart so you can refer to them as you re-build it.
