Not had a bike in years, or owned any motor vehicle for that matter, so need a little help with my new bike. I apologise if these are very stupid questions, but I'd rather have things confirmed by those who know than go with what I think may be right. I can't find a manual anywhere (even the local bike shop can't find a proper suzuki one yet), so any help would be very much appreciated.

The information I need is:

1) Lube - what type do I need for the engine etc? My step dad has a dozen different types for all his cars, and I have no idea which is best!

2) Forks - anyone know how much oil each should hold?

3) Fuel tap - mine seems to be stuck on, anybody point me to a guide to strip it, and what new parts I'll need to rebuild it?

Is there a similar bike out there I could get a manual for? Thanks in advance for any help received.

Hi Tek

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Just got my first bike and I am having trouble getting info on it.
If you get answers to any of the above please let me know.

I've looked for manuals online but can't find any for the VL125 and the guy who sold me the bike said he had tried everything to get one but they just don't make them. I think I saw manuals for the bigger engine intruders but i can't say if they would do for a 125?
HOWEVER

I did find a full parts list with diagrams for the 125 on the internet which maybe of use...helped me locate the side stand switch Smile
here it is

Any idea what PSI the tires should be on this? Is it bike dependant or should I just go by the tires?
