..or not.

I was driving past my mates shop last night and noticed 3 plod cars parked outside, so i nipped into a side road and wondered across to check he was ok.

Found out he was trying to unload his van when a piss head neighbour was demanding more beer, he turned him down and the bloke got violent. my mate told him to fuck off and man handled him out of the shop. Then the piss head started to kick off on some random woman walking past, and grabbed her arm. She went home and told hubby, he came up kicking off, and the police were called.

Cut a long story short, they wouldnt charge the piss head with anything, or even arrest him whilst he calmed down for that matter.

When i questioned why he was not being charged, i got some snooty jobsworth woman reply to me "well what do YOU suggest we charge him with" expecting me not to reply.

I instantly replied "well, drunk and disorderly for a start" she then stuttered for a minute before saying "we cant charge him, its up to the other officers over there" usual police bollocks, after a 5 min argument with her in which I had an answer for every point she raised, she became very agitated and told me to go home as its none of my business. Rolling Eyes

So off I went, piss head released, victimized woman angry along with shop keeper.

2 hours later i get a phone call.

"Dom, that prick from next door has chucked a slab over the fence and its hit the fiesta"

This is a 1 off fiesta with hundreds of man hours spent on it, full cosworth engine and running gear, rwd setup etc. Mint bodywork.

So because the police were too lazy to do their job, some blokes had his pride and joy ruined, will be left out of pocket. and guess what, the bloke still wasnt arrested or charged with anything. Rolling Eyes

Well done police, another criminal punished. Rolling Eyes

I still can't believe what happened, i've seen people get arrested on nights out for much less aggressive behavior than that.

Another thing, there was 4 plod cars there in the end, 3 of them were driven by women. If a women police officer cannot contain the situation, then surely they are not fit for the job? What a fcuking waste of funds employing 3 people that just cannot cope with the demands of the job.

There was probably "no units available" to all the other crimes in the locality that were taking place. Rolling Eyes

In fairness Dom_ I do actually agree that he should have been escorted away to cool down. It's what section 5 is there for.

I'd have to agree with the vigilante suggestions im afraid.
Just dont get caught, because you'll end up doing time and paying him compensation..
For a long time i wanted to join the police force, im glad i didnt now.
Every day we hear of their total incompetence. I know some of them are genuinely good people, but for the most part they are complete twats.
A while ago we had problems up our street with some kids who live down the other end of the road. One of them (he's 14 yrs old) has an asbo, tried to set fire to his own house and has repeatedly damaged peoples gardens and cars. The police did nothing to stop him, the asbo was useless and it was getting to the point where a lot of us had had enough.
The final straw was when i saw him jump my back fence and peer into my shed (where all my bike gear/tools are kept)
I ran out and collared him, gripped the little bastard round the neck and told him if i caught him doing anything ever again i would break into his house at night and slit his throat.
Extreme? Yeah, but it worked. Ever since he's been good as gold, and he will talk to me now respectfully.
Good result i'd say Thumbs Up

Well my local coppers seem to deal with drunks in quite a different fashion.

One night last week outside in my street, young lad pissed up half asleep in a hedge, two cops came, asked him once to stand up.

When he didn't, it was arm twist, pulled his jumper off (wtf? Confused ), cuffed him behind his back and left him topless, sobbing like a girl on his knees till the meatwagon arrived.

I love my street. Who needs a tv.
