have not been using it often..took it out yesterday the power valve was not kicking in at all and it would not rev past 7rpm. went for a ride this morning and it was flying,no problems whats so ever,used it again a few hours later was working perfectly..then the same problems poped up.. any ideas what it may be guys...headgasket/blocked carb or powervalve problem?

Check the powervalve motor lead.. sometimes the spades on the wire connection under the fuel tank get dirty.. dirty connector will give you this problem.. check the earth wire coming from motor.. your best bet is to unplug and clean the contacts.. are your servo cables slack? Or the valve itself may need to be removed and buffed up.. My problem on mine is that my powervalve wont fully open.. I think it could be my CDI unit as I dont think its original. Let me know how you get on..
