since im replacing the collector box on my rvf i tried to remove the end can from the current one, however the 3 bolts connecting the end can to the collector box are completely seized, tried taking two off and they both just snapped leaving most of the bolt in the end can.

any idea's on how to remove the 3rd bolt without snapping it and how should i go about removing the snapped bolts already in the end can?

The bolts have to be undone in order to get the can off, to remove the broken bolts.

Spray the remaining bolt with WD40 and use a socket on it. Apply constant pressure and wait for it to budge. If the others snapped off, it's pretty certain that one will too.

You have a choice for removing the snapped bolts:

Mole grips
File flats on and use a spanner
File flats on and use mole grips
File 6 flats on and use a socket
Buy a stud extractor and try that (they need quite a bit of space to work)
Take it to an engineering firm and let them worry about it/drill the bolt out and retap the thread

Listed in order in which i would try them Wink

well bolts snapped and the can refuses to budge at all, meant to be a simple twist to get it off but no luck.

bike garage said that its probobly bonded and would be easier to just get a replacement can, except there dam expensive Sad

any suggestion on what to try?

If its a slip on and its really tight, you can try applying heat to the can side of the link pipe to expand it. You could also try some "gentle persuasion" with a hammer and drift, but be careful.
