cant open the throttle!?!

i have a 50cc lc piaggio engined moped ive messed about with the fuel mixture and cleaned out the jet and its just had a new piston but it still doesnt run right it bogs down when i open the throttle more than half way or so but up to there its fine ... any ideas?

Have you checked that the fuel lines aren't clogged? Does your ped have a fuel filter? Have you cleaned/replaced the air filter?

Sounds like too much fuel is going through the carb and it's bogging down mate.

You might need a smaller carb or you've not jetted it right.

As it's doing what my mates 50cc does, he's got a k&N and and a Leo Vince pipe and when he opens the throttle it bogs down.

But his jetting is all wrong.

Take it to a mechanic and get all the fuel mixtures and carb settings sorted. And get the Air filter cleaned etc, it should fix it.
