Straight to the point.. My moped won't start. I was riding it up a hill when i lost all the power, so i pulled over and as soon as i let the throttle off the bitch died. Got it starting a hour later off the kick start got home and let the throttle off and it died. Hasn't started since Sad

I stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the Carb and fuel pump but i seriously have no idea whats wrong with it as it still won't start. Doesn't sound like there's much compression or anything happening and on top of that my exhaust snapped in 2 Razz

Anybody have ideas?

Only idea i have left is dosing it in petrol and setting it alight as it's caused me more trouble than its worth.

Take top end off and see what state its in.
Assuming its a 2T it wont like the broken exhaust as they need the back pressure to draw exhaust gases out of the cylinder.

Thanks mate Smile Could the broken exhaust cause it not to start? Won't kick start nor will it start off the electric start.

Did you check for a spark and fuel on the plug before you stripped the carb down (don't know what possessed you to do that anyway).

Always start with the basics saves allot of trouble.

Leave the keys in it outside your house tonight at 8.
Phone the filth at 8:30 saying your bikes gone.
