Here's my new ride, an '86 GSXR750 slabside...

Aim to get it up and riding for the rest of summer (needs service, MOT and rear caliper sorting) then over winter tart it up!

Thinking flatbars/risers/twin lights etc and black paintwork maybe with some airbrushing.

I think it's fucking ace!!! Buzzing. Mr. Green

Check the link in my sig Smile

As annoying as it sounds, I'd look to restoring it back to as close as OEM as you can get. Stock mint condition slabbies are getting few and far between!

Lol joined there last week!! Wink

I know, it is tempting but a black fast fighter is what I've always wanted. Fairings are pretty ropey tbh.

Gonna see if I can make it so it can be popped straight back to standard if I sell it, still not decided for sure Laughing

I get one last ride across Yorkshire to deliver it though!! Mr. Green

Oh, and it set me back £500 and he's delivering it across Derby to my mate's garage Very Happy

Haha, if I do it it will be properly and tidily done, neat small custom clocks etc. Also will be looking to upgrade the brakes and suspension etc. This is a bike I want to make my own, not just hang onto then re-sell.

On a crappy note, the lad who was buying my CBR couldn't get the money after all, so it's still up for grabs!! Need it gone, have no space Laughing
