So looks ok on my bike because its cheap?
if you find £3000 cheap for a 125 Shocked
Its only £500 cheaper than an RS125 Confused
How do you define cheap?

Also i dont think they look too bad, i would prefer silver so i may polish them up or get them re-anodized or painted.
I dont have £300+ to blow on real yoshi ones and i wouldnt bother on a 125 tbh,
still i think they are an improvement on the standard rearsets and they improve the riding.

cor blimey. Someones a bit touchy innit.

When my fzr is fixed, fancy a ride? It may not pass your standards (being a crash damaged on-the-cheap OLD sports 600) but I dare say it would be a laugh. As long as ya know, you don't just head to a dual carriageway and pin the throttle.

Out of interest can you kneedown? No biggy if you can't, I'm just wondering. I know you can wheelie, and apparently stoppie, it just occurs to me that you might have be one of those 140mph munckins who slow down to 20 to take the sweeping sliproads.

Will do.

half_lyfe... looks can be decieving mate.
The bike is alot more solid that most the bikes ive seen, the fairing is rock solid as is the screen the metal on the reasets isnt that bad, i only weight under 9st so i dont think ill snap them with my weight Wink

The frame etc... is made from steel, its not thin or flimsy.
Have ever seen one? or played with one? or even read a review on one?
Id start looking for some review from peope who know what they are talking about and take a note from there book, this bike isnt chinese and although they are made on a budget (like most bikes) they are not cheaply thrown together, the engine is solid as a rock as is the frame and fairings, ive never had any problems and the ones ive seen that have been binned rarely have smashed fairing, so strong infact it takes the weight of the bike very very well in an accident and protects the engine and frame.

https://www.hyosung.co.uk/media.php
Heres a few reviews from MCN and the likes, remember the 650 is the same fairing etc... as the 125R

The only review I have seen of the Hyosung GT (though its the 250)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkqDzeCVkX0

Much as I hate to agree with HL, the rearsets look obviously fake and quite cheap.

Dave

Edit: Just curious as to what the rear tyre is?

Half_luke, I cant be bothered to read your posts but please do stop trying to be Luke. Thumbs Up

Rear Sets look alright, Ive got cheap/copy Pazzo levers, They do the job though, were cheaper than buying replacement Honda ones, Have more adjustment and do look a bit better.

Okay they are fake pazzos, but at £30 posted, I cant complain really, If I drop the bike/snap a lever, i'll just buy another set.

how much were the rear sets out of curiosity?

i guess my point is, your trying to con your bike off as a really good bike,

I presume he's just lightly modifying his bike like so many other bike owners enjoy to do. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm at a loss to how proclaiming that one 'rides like a cock' can validate a person's disagreement of cosmetic taste or the ability to judge tensile strength of a variety of materials just from a series of low resolution images though.

Glad some have seen sense..
Remember when the jap bikes first arrived in the UK they where "shit, waste of time, cheap nasty etc.."
Well thats how korea have entered, the only thing im not 100% on is the name of the company but meh...
The bike is amazing id reccomend to ANYONE starting out as you dont feel like you have taken a huge step when u get aon a bigger cc bike, infact it will probably feel smaller...
I couldnt say its ugly compared the the SV... The SV is ok but c'mon you have a mix of GSXR and DAYTONA in the styling of the GTR.
Alot of the hyosung parts are infact suzuki parts (see gascap, oil filter, airfilter (very similar to SV) forks etc..)

I am modifying the bike to my own taste, yes its quite abit of £££'s but i work hard for it and want to spend it on something i love! 90% of the stuff is bolt-on bolt-off so i can put her standard and i can sell the parts to anyone who owns a GT125 /R /S GT250 /R /S GT650 /R /S or sell it as is.

As for lightly modified...
-HiFlo Oil Filter
-EBC pads
-Metzler Tourace Roadtec tyre
-HID style bulbs
-LED Undertray (with led rear lights and indicators)
-LED's on undertray
-6x3 numberplate (letterbox style, not legal but fits)
-Heated grips (for winter)
-Yoshi style rearsets
-Gas Cap protector
-Tank Pad Protector
-Custom Ducati 848 pearl white sprayjob
-removed grabrail
-Custom decals in real carbon fibre
-Custom (home made) carbon fibre yoke protector
-Tinted screen (dark black)
-Mini Indicators (front)
-De-Cat downpipes
-CDI de-restriction
-Custom "Stubby" Yoshi / MTC can in powder coated black
-Headlight LED "angel eyes" mod
-Iris Gold Chain and JT sprockets
-NGK Irridium Spark Plugs
-Gold plated Dust Caps
-Carbon Style Mirrors (smaller)
-Custom Laser cut s/steel chainguard (flames and hyosung logo)
-Reflective white rimtape with hyosung logo and text
possibly a couple of bits left out Laughing

The rearsets looks pretty trick, the pics dont do much justice.
They where £35 +£5 p&p hardly yoshi prices and very very good for the ££.

Rearsets are your foot pegs and the bracketry that holds it to the frame, and the levers.

I like it, paint the rearsets black though, why do you have the tourace tyre? do you do some light off roading?

You can replace the stock rearsets to get more ajustable positions, allows you to raise them so the dont scrap so quick also.
