top speed faster or faster bottom end. ??
Cheap mod is changing the sprocket sizes, start with down one in the front, can go up in the back as well but you may end up having to buying a new chain.?

simply changing your can won't make any performance difference if you still have the Cat box underneath, get it replaced with a de-cat box, performance air filter, power commander, velocity stacks, reccomended gearing is -1 front +2 rear for peoplle who want a big low down kick, cusom map for the power commander.

but... all this is pointless if the rider is poor, the bike will only be as fast as the rider, and the K7 750 should give any production bike a run for it's money.

As above, if you want a more powerful bike, by far the most cost-effective thing to do would be to sell it and buy a GSXR1000.

If you want a faster bike, then the best thing to do is to turn your right hand more and earlier Smile.

If you want to spend a load of money for the sake of spending money on shiny things, then a full system and power commander are the start.

There is a mod you can do while its running, to maximise the fuel air mixture entering the engine and therefore increase performance. It can in some circumstances affect your fuel economy though, and cause damage to the engine.

What need to do is turn the black twisty thing on your handlebar towards you. You should find the bike moves forward at an increased pace. Just make sure you use the lever shaped device on the same bar, or you might encounter the aforementioned engine damage. Not to mention how the tree will feel...

I feel for you, I really do.

Its such a pain in the arse that for all the time you have the bike pinned in top gear you are constantly held back by the limitations of the bike. Must be an awful long straight you are trying to get down Confused

99% of the time its cos you are really trying to find various limits that you crash but that has to be better than a life of mundane parp parp blandness --- give the kid a break i killed a mint ZX12R last year at 110 mph(it was legal in the Isle of man) (broke it in two ) that doesnt make you an automatic bad rider cos everything was rosy for me in the previous 17 years sometimes there are just too many soap box jockeys on here Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

i think this thread is the only time iv heard some one say they think that there gsxr 750s is to slow! Shocked , with a p/cand full system, you can supposedly expect to see 130bhp ish and about 142bhp with performance cams
probably better to just get the thou like every ones saying tho Cool Wink

on a side note, iv not been on the forum for that long so i dont know all the details behind it, but from what iv seen people seem to ride luke more then there bikes! Mr. Green its funny sometimes i guess but he does get a lot of stick, is it well deserved?? Confused
