Thought I'd drop a post to say hi to everyone on here. Been a viewer for a while but thought I'd "officially" join the community seeing as after almost 12 years of planning to I've actually got round to booking my CBT (Wed 6th Aug).

Read a lot of posts from peeps worrying about it and to be honest I'm not nervous, more excited.

My old man is a 50+ year biking veteran so I grew up with them, unfortunately when I got old enough life got in the way as it tends to.

Now, more than a decade after I really wanted to, I'm finally getting myself out on the road, can't wait.

Hope to see you all on the road soon.

If you've been on a bike before it should be fine for you. Listen well and have some fun in the paddock. As long as you ride OK in the afternoon then you should be an interesting and informative day.

CBT done today, no problems apart from radios got a bit twitchy on second half of assessment.

Really enjoyed it and now I'm MOTed, taxed, insured and CBTed away I go.

Thanks for all the encouragement.
