Just when I thought things were fine the little fucker gives me trouble. Lucky I didn't have time to get onto the mountain roads...
Basically overnight the bike has "broken"
I went to the petrol station to let some air out of my overinflated tyres, then it was awfully hard to start. Had to push several times to get it going.
Then everytime I stop it just cuts out. When I start it it's as if the engine is freezing cold. I can only give it the slightest amount of gas before it goes UUUUUUGHGHH... Have to give it very progressively to get it going, and then when I stop it's the same thing.
Also my gears are messing with me. They were very hard to move, and when I pushed the lever down hard to get to first from second the whole lever went down about an extra 45 degrees and works normally from that position. Might it be that I didn't tighten the lever enough at the shaft?
And what about the cutting out? Blocked hose? Incorrect fuel mix? Bad spark? Any tips?

Hi

Gearchange is just the pinch bolt not being done up. Undo the pinch bolt, slide the part off the shaft, slide it back on in the right place and then do up the pinch bolt properly. Hopefully it hasn't damaged the splines.

Not sure about the problem moving off at all. First things first, check it is getting enough fuel.

All the best

Keith
