I have 35mm showa usd forks on my 1999 derbi gpr. Basically i want to change the fork seal. I took off the cap andthen there is an allen head which is connected to the damper rod(i think) and the spring that goes round it. When i put the allen key in and turn it just spins around. I took out the allen in the bottom off the fork as well. And i cant seem to get the internals out! Help ... please! Smile

um, you need to insert a suitable tool down inside the stancion after you have drained the oil, to hold the damper frm rotating when trying to undo it.

on my forks it a 24mm so basically get a bolt with a suiable sized head, put a pair of nuts on it and lock them together tape that to a socket, use enough extension bars to reach and hopefully you'll be able to undo it.

if you been whizzing it round and round you might need to replace the copper washer that's on the outside.
