I suggest you start experimenting with shading techniques etc and "rendering". I'm nowhere near as good now as when i was doing GCSE ART.. Also, for a technical challenge, use a ballpoint or fineliner. If you do graphics or drafting, it's a good idea and a skill to have, i found it best to always use them because they'll capture your ideas and evolution of ideas... I never considered any "mistakes" that i made, i thought of them as "refinements".

He's me bored in class from about about year 10 -> 1st year A level sketches... physics especially quantum physics can get soo boring!

wheels are always wonky cos they're freehand and it's something i have never been able to get right (i write and draw with the paper at a slant)

Sorry for thread hijacking, but that was what i used to do at your age.

Keep doodling and be as imaginative as possible.

Craig is a brilliant freehander too.

Not bad considering you're 15, I was busy doodling imaginary robots at that age. Maybe try some more action shots, rather than just profiles?

Agreed.

IMO the real talent with drawing/painting is getting the perspective, movement and 'lighting' effects just right. Yes, you're drawings are competant and lifelike, but now is the time to try and take it to the 'next level', that is if drawing is what you want to do.

Profile/head on drawings are always the easiest to do, try your hand at a 3/4 view, or recreate an action shot, see how you go. Thumbs Up

If your doing GCSE art then consider using them pics as your work. Thats what i did as one of the topics were travel so we had 2-3 months to have planning sketches what go with a big final piece. I did motorbikes for mine and had some pretty good drawings. Although they all got thrown away when i left Sad anyways good work keep it up. Thumbs Up
