Anybody elses boots squeek?

I've got some Oxtar race boots and have hardly worn them because they squeek when i am walking. Is there any way to stop it?

I got some silicon stuff with them too put on but that didn't work, it has the T.C.S thing on it which is what i think is squeeking but not sure.

Cheers, Jack Thumbs Up

heavy axle grease, or a bit of chain lube.......

The t.c.s bit holds the grease inside the ankle part if you put enough on, and lasts for about a week.

So i'd just get used to it n wear your squeak with pride! Rolling Eyes

Oxtar boots squeek. no matter what you use they will always squeek. I have had Oxtar MX boots for 3 years now. I have tried everything, even pig shit, but they still squeek. I have got used to the squeek, but it is the cunts who have to say something about your boots squeeking all the time. Every fucker feels the need to say something about my boots squeeking and they all think its the first time and that they are funny.
Squeek loud, squeek with pride, long live the squeek.

ever thought about getting a cobbler to do the soles etc? my boss boots had a hole at the bottom so he got a cobbler to put on some durable rubber grip on the bottom. i'm not sure it would help you but maybe it could.

I've never liked WD40, I use chain lube on mine. Looks a bit tatty if you use a wax though.

Quietens them for a week or 2, less if its raining.

+1 for chain lube.
WD40 does the job too, but i find chain lube lasts longer on my alpinestars smx3.
