Is there anyone in this forum who has ever made a succesful
purchase from them over the net?

I'd like to get some parts from them as they're the only ones I've
found who make stuff for the NSR but, I'm a bit unsure as they have
no proper online ordering system and when I phoned them, they
told me to send my credit card number to them over email!

Isn't this a bit unsecure?

Plus they have never replied to any of my previous emails, asking about their stock.
Which makes me wonder if my money won't just dissapear once I've
sent them my card details... Confused

Unless you can get firm feedback from someone about this place, I wouldnt be buying from there. I wouldnt email a cc# whatever. Give it to them over the phone, and get them to fax you a copy of the receipt or something.

If you are looking at buying lots of bits, it might be worth ordering the cheapest smallest thing if you think they might be dodgy, and then wait and see if it turns up.

Can you ask a bank to put a limit on how much can be drawn in one day, so they cant say bugger your account?

Having said all that Laughing they seem to have been around for a while, so I wouldnt expect any probs, but dont be emailing your cc#

I doubt that they (the company itself) will do anything dodgy with your CC details, but if you send your details in an unsecured email, then it can probably be intercepted, or more likely, simply made available for all to see in the office.

I hate it when people don't reply to emails, especially as you're offering them your custom. Do you/they have a fax number? Failing that, you could email bits of your CC details in separate emails (address in message, card number in another, expiry in another etc..)

Good luck.

Instead of getting ur mate 2 translate try:
https://www.freetranslation.com/

I am interesting in buying the Carbon Exhaust cover off them. I've already e-mailed asking how they are fixed onto the bike and how much postage 2 the UK is.
But i'm definitely interested in group purchase, where u from mate?

I found that having a german friend translating text is slightly more realiable than translators, he found it amousing when i tried to send him an e-mail in translated german as some of it was in the wrong tense and words in the wrong places Laughing

I live in North Yorkshire, i can try to arrange a group purchase depending on how much interest i get, like i said we'll work somthing out to make sure it won't go wrong if we decide to buy parts, but they do sell stuff that u just can't find anywhere else...i'm thinking of buying a batch of Single Seat Coversions and selling them on Very Happy could be popular

I got the page translated alright with the 'babelfish'- there ain't so much to translate anyways and with a bit common sense you'll work it all out.

i talked to the owners on the phone too (one speaks pretty good english) and they seemed nice enough like most people connected with bikes but these very nice people still refuse to give a single answer over the email and there's no way i'll be ordering anything before they do....

but the group order won't problably work for me cause i live very far from the UK... Sad

just let me know when you've recieved your stuff so i'll at least know the guys really exist Wink

Can you not do it all over the phone (ie give your cc details on the phone)
Depending on the laws there/germany it might be worth recording the call, just incase anything dodgy does happen.

i'm talking to them now to arrange a deal if they get a fairly large order from the UK, as far as im aware its not dodgy at all, my friend in Germany claims they have a very good reputation.
If anybody does want to get something can you let me know so I can see what deal can be arranged. im thinking about a single seat conversion, carbon tank cap and mabyee some carbon foot plates Very Happy

Well, I am after a single seat conversion, aka the back hump. So if you find the price out of it, and when you are gonna buy all the stuff, let me know. OK.

It depends if you want the grab rail to stay or not, if you want it with a grab rail its roughly 30-50 quid and without the grab rail its about 15 quid i can look into it with more detail if you want, also i aint sure about colours i think its something like black or white, i'll also look into that for you......is anybody else interested in getting somthing??

Well my bike is a Honda NSR125R black/silver import. It looks gorgoues. I want the single seat conversion for it, but which do you think looks better. I already have a grab rail, the standard one. Will the conversion require me to purchase another one, to fit onto it? Also, does the conversion just cover the rear seat over, or is it a completely new seat unit? Where abouts are you based anyway? Thanks. Cool

Right, i'll keep a track on what you guys want, i'll hang on a little longer and see if anybody else wants anything, I was looking at the single seat coversions and aparently one says grab rail and cushion, im not sure if this means it comes with a grab rail or has holes to allow it to fit around the grab rail it also says it comes with a backing cushion, the second one which doesn't appear to accomodate the grab rail but it also doesn't say anything about the backing cushion but there is one on the pic? so I aint sure about the difference between the two........
i'll call or e-mail motorrad-bach tomorrow and see if i can get the ball rolling i'll keep you all posted with the progress
