Passed my test, only got 6 minors. But the weird thing was, I failed my theory a 2 weeks before, which meant my practical test was cancelled. A week later I booked my theory again, passed with ease then did my practical test the 2 days later (got charged for it though, £48!!!), considering that the next available slot was like 2 months later, how lucky is that? Anyway I passed on my Honda NSR125R, word of caution to would-be provisionals, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRACTICAL TEST on an NSR125R, cause trying to do a U TURN on one of them, is to be quite FRANK a BITCH. I had to go against the curb to begin with, and put the bike steering into full left hand lock, and lean on the right hand side, but I managed it. Considering I have had 23 months riding experience (I was on a ped for a year, then when I turned 17 got my NSR), I had to work in order to do a U turn on my NSR. SO use those snyde Yamaha 125 bikes with very wide handle bars to do your test on! You know, those bikes they use in training centres.

Does anyone know if I should get a GIANELLI, ARROW or Jolly Moto exhaust system, and which one, and why? Many Thanks in advance.

Well done mate \o/

U turn is possible on an NSR, and yes it is harder than a CG, it is possible. Just practise and more practise is all you need.

Erm, you cant have actually booked your practical without a certifacte number from a passed theory test :S

And its not the wide bars that make it easier to do a U turn, its the turning circle of them.

IMO dont get any of them Razz Get a bigger bike now Smile Or just derestrict the one you have got. None of them will really make any power increase noticable, so its not really worth it

Congrats on the test!

Ste,

Did you derestric your NSR before you got rid of it?

nice one

U turns on the NSR aren't a prob... just get a bit of practice first.

Now kev's KR1s *that* would be nasty ... much easier to just pick it up Smile
