Went to Hartford Marina tonight and Taz Motorcycles in Peterboro had brought 3 RSV4s down.

Pics were taken on my camera phone, so not great quality. He did start it up, but my phone decided to spaz out at that point. It sounds like a less thumpy Mille. A mille minus the bass sound, nothing like the RC30/NC30, and not much like the R1.

They left about half 8, must be best job in the world just riding those to and from bike meets. Laughing

My thoughts are that the bike is TINY, really smal seat unit and there's no pillion accomodation except pegs. You have to scooch onto the same seat as the rider.

The standard can is really big, an aftermarket can would definately tidy it up, as would a tail tidy.

Lovely bikes!

But yeah, needs a can an tail tidy to finish it.

I thought there were only going to be 200 available for the UK, strange they would take 3 out?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I'm pretty sure they were bikes from the press launch. The official launch isn't until the 14 May, and all of them were sporting Supercorsas, which were well used on two of them.

Was quite busy, everyone left about 9 or so, but it's an ok ride over there anyway, some good roads if rather bumpy.

Why don't they just get rid of the pillion pegs and sell it as a single seater?

Two of them had pegs, one didn't. I guess they are quickly removeable ala R6.

It has a seperate pillion seat - in this video at 15:20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4jEE8LNUgQ

Probably more comfortable to squeeze on the riders seat though Laughing

Aaaa, fair, none of the bikes there had that wee thing on them, so I just presumed you squeezed onto the same seat.

A friend has bought one, just got the first service in so he could do a trackday on Sat Smile 99db it was and for anyone who knows, in neutral its quite quiet, put it in 1st gear the it gets a lot louder. The headstock is stamped at 109db @ 6800rpm!! very very loud bike as standard.

He is a big guy, does make the bike look a little silly. It's back in the shop today due to a small oil leak Smile Rolling Eyes
