Thats what I am in!!!!
I spent over 6 hours this weekend working on the Bandit.
About 4 on Saturday and 3+ hours on Sunday.
I was pleased with the ammount that I got done, but it doesnt look like much.
I started with the new silver anodised footpegs which were really easy apart from the fact that they are not as big as the originals so I will need to fit either rubber or metal underneath to stop them pointing downwards when wait is put on them.
I then moved onto the front brake lever (which was really bent!) and fitted an anodised blue lever. I also had to drill a hole in the Renthal Ultra low bars I have to keep the start button black thingy in place.
Then I moved onto fitting the new choke and clutch cables. The choke cable was stuck solid when I bought the bike, this was realtively easy.
The clutch cable needed replacing as it was very stiff (excuse the term!) this involved taking the clutch cover off, which was absolutely filthy inside from road grit chain lube and general grime!!!
The Bar ends I bought again are too big to fit renthal bars, so I had to sit and shave bits off of the rubber holder with a razor blade and keep checking it to see if it fitted, obviously if I took too much off they would be too small and be useless.
I then fitted the blue super grips I bought which again involved a bit of chopping of the accelorator tube itself.
I then managed to remove the original unertray and once I have bought a new blade for my saw I will cut it down to attach the new one.
I then fitted the plates that hold the rear hugger on.
Finally attempted to fit the Jack Up kit but it was impossible to remove the original bolts. I put my intire body weight (13 and a half stone!!!) over the ratchet but it would not budge. Even my Dad attempted but to no avail and hes a 15+ stone fat bugger.
Well woke up yesterday to find my forearms and Shoulder stuck solid, and I was in excrutiating (sp) pain for the whole day at work.
Will have to take it to a garage to get them to loosen them up.
Sorry it was a bit long and not really about my pain, however no-one else will listen to me when I talk about bikes.
Will post pics soon.

Well I am hoping the end of May, I have really missed not riding a bike, plus I have missed the meets as well, so it will be straight on the strip, and straight on the Dyno.
As for beast, its hardly a GSX1100 with nitrous, however it will be my first bike after the NSR so not a bad jump to a 600.
I will post the pics as soon as I can for a sneak preview, I have reached my budget this month, but I get paid on the 28th so I will be stocking up again.
Dean; It will be worth it especially if it looks how I expect it to when I am finished. My family still look at me as if I am a nutter when I sit on it and make Motorbike noises!!!!
