Hi - have not been on here before so hi to all ...
Am new to biking and don't know a thing about em, but want to learn...
Had to get my bike trailered off to local garage as broke down today and wondered if anyone had had similar problems?

Bike was running fine then began coughing and spluttering - checked petrol, that was OK (had not run out), started off again and bike would not go over 40 mph on the flat
Bike seemed to be making a 'clicking' kind of noise (as well as the coughing) from back end and on top of that it now refuses to go into nuetral from 1st and brake light on constantly - aaagh - any ideas...?
Sorry if this sounds vague - but like I said I'm a bit clueless...
(Think I posted this in the wrong place first - sorry)

When you say petrol was Ok, do you mean there was some in the tank? If so how much, could be needs fuel tap switching to reserve.
Other noise could be loose chain, this can also cause problems changing gears. But sounds more like clutch may have gone.
At least its in the right place now to be fixed.
