A friend of mine wants to know what would be a good bike for him to comute from kent to london each day, the only thing id he is over 6foot and i quiet heavy. anyone got any suggestions???

I'm over 6 foot, quite heavy, and used to commute through the (LOVELY) Kentish twisties, and motorways, and CB500 is great for it. 45+mpg, fast for a 500, big enough for a tall bastard like me (think 6ft3-4)

Agreed, I commute on a GS500. I'm 6'3" although fairly skinny.

It'll hold 70-80mph no problems, and they're cheap.
Not a bike to be proud of though really.
