My new communal BCF bike

Doris, Bendy's CBR600 is now my new pride and joy.

Her and Jay came up to mine in Leicester today and we completed the handover ceremony, there were swords and fire involved. Not to mention the dancing.

It's a 2000 CBR 600F, Full micron system, ohlins fork internals, braided hoses both ends, cosmetically it's not great, but she's been mechanically loved. I probably wouldn't have touched it if I didn't know Bend.

I'm a happy man, she's tucked up in my 'garden' now, safely under a cover. I'll have to get another one for the GS now. Never mind.

The Johnson pipe died a death along with Bendy's finger at Brands Hatch I think.

And no, there's no longer the yellow bendy man on the front. Don't know what happened to him.

There are various stickers from various trackdays though, which I intend on taking credit for.
I also forgot to add it's downgeared -1 +4 aswell. Which makes it accelerate rather well! And the speedo healer is set up wrong which makes the speedo comedically inaccurate. Either that or most cars on the A46 were doing well over 100.

I ragged the shit out of that bike round Cartegena for about 20 laps after my TLR blew its fork seals, good bike and pretty darn fun.
Suspention needs a look see it doesnt like to hold a line too well but it adds to the fun, kinda like you on those Chinese tyres.

It seems to handle nicely if a little firm. I need to get it on track really to see. I only had jeans on too, so I couldn't go for my knee down bench mark to see how it felt near the limit.

It was funny, I was bank transferring the money to Bend and she asked if I wanted to check it over first. And I said "Why, has it been trackdayed and crashed?"

You've ridden it, G's wheelied, stoppied and burned it out, Bend's crashed it, more than once...

But I know all these things, and I'm more than happy!

Cool, I prefer the down gearing on that bike than mine, but couldn't afford the extra petrol

I'll most likely move it back to stock gearing when I have to do the C&S next. It just sits a bit too far up the rev range at motorway cruising speeds.

Still managed 151miles and the light hadn't come on yet. Still took £16 of fuel though!!

Honda's middleweight sport bike underwent a complete and total redesign for 2007 with reducing the CBR600RR's weight as their primary focus. The result was a 20 lb (9.1 kg) reduction in dry weight over the 2006 model, from 361 lb (163.7 kg) to 341 lb (154.7 kg).

In redesigning the CBR600RR for lighter weight and increased performance, Honda's R&D engineers started with the engine. The completely new engine is the smallest and lightest powerplant in the super sport class by a significant margin - its designers having used careful positioning of all internal components to achieve significant reductions in the motor's length, width, and height, as well as reducing weight by 2 kg (4.4 lb) compared to the 2006 model's powerplant. Man, in case you didn't know, they're trialling out camera vans to catch out bikers in the leicestershire area. They've got the 360 degree sweep to catch our plates as we pass . Rozzers are very rarely out on wet days ... Leicester to Lincoln is still quite a mission is it not? 50 miles each way? Which part of Leicester are you at, not that I know it pretty well?

I'm sort of central, behind De Montfort uni. Quite close to the M1 junction with the M69 though aswell.

It's 60 miles, it's a right pain in the arse. Luckily it's only until January when I finish training and I'll start working in Grantham which is only 30 miles.
