This is just a quick question for anybody who knows a bit about touring bikes in particular the BMW F650 cause I really need some advice. I am 5'7 does anyone know if I am too short to be reasonably comfortable on one? Thanks in particular a 1995 model if that helps, thanks everyone really appreciate your help!

They are quite short, but, err, if you're looking to go for a dirt-based 'adventure' any BMW bar a G series would be off my list.

The 'GS' version of the F650 is a bit shorter (not sure why you're mentioning Long Way Down).

Ewans wife rode (loose term) one for a short stint, wouldn't class them as a touring bike by a long shot.

Going and sitting on one would seem to be the obvious answer, especially as you haven't told us how long your legs are (height isn't terribly relevant).
