Got a letter to old address from dvla mentioning someone has applied for the logbook for my old zxr which andym bought so im assuming its him as i told him to apply as he hadn't got it yet.
What do i do now? im guessing i sit and wait for a court summons?
Not entirely sure what it says as ive not seen the letter yet all i know is it asks about contacting them if im no longer the keeper of it. ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

Did you update the logbook to your current address when you moved?
Ring them up and ask why you've not received the confirmation that you're not the registered keeper anymore - this way it's on file that you've chased it up and so can't be stung by a summons. ____________________ Looking to pass your CBT / Bike tests in Bury Lancashire? try www.focusridertraining.co.uk Would recommend.

Oh dear.
I can't imagine that you'll make it better for yourself by contacting them: all you'd be doing is giving their debt collectors up-to-date contact information.
This might be the case where they apply a bit of common sense and actually follow the law, but I wouldn't put money on it.
Did you get proof of posting when you sent the change of keeper notification to them? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Wait for court letter.
Use this with edited details if you genuinely sent the logbook off.
