Nearly killed myself about an hour ago on the M3(from london) to M25(towards Heathrow) junction slip road.

If you know it, it's a lovely banked turn that seems to go for ever and is easily good for the ton on a good day. Being lazy I was poodling round at about 45 at a push 50, and the DIESEL is on both lanes of the slip road.

Stood the bike up as soon as I saw it, back wheel skidded out then bit in again bucking me out the seat. Both feet off the pegs, crushed my nuts on the tank, front sliding everywhere heading straight towards the crash barrier Shocked

Went into the hard shoulder, through the hard shoulder onto the dirt between the barrier and the road, and then came to a stop another 20 yards round the bend.

Not sure how I saved it, but have banged my left knee on the crash barrier and scratched the front mudguard.....feel very lucky.

Have told the police, but be aware if you're going for a ride in that direction today.... Thumbs Up

That will be bad for a few days while it gets mopped up.
