Good choice...but if you want the most economical the nsr wins.
No 600 sportsbike is as good as a 125 for MPG

edit....just figured out you`re probably talking about a cbr 125 aren`t you...not a 600. Embarassed
If that`s the case i`d say stick with the nsr or something else.
Those cbrs are frugly....economical yes...but still frugly.

Laughing I'm guessing 125 as well. I don't know, but what you may save in petrol and 2 stroke, may well be well work it. Although the cbr may not have the "oomph" of the nsr, at least you'll have the extra £££ to do your teat and get a big bike Very Happy

Don't be an idiot, get a CG125, an SR125, a YBR125, or a GS125.

NO POINT in wasting money on an expensive 125, you won't have it long enough to care.

I'm talking from the experience of owning an RS125, and at least that thing was fast!

CBR125 = CG125 engine on "supersports" frame.

Which means more weight, panels you will almost undoubtedly mess up when you forget to put down your sidestand etc.etc. and a pretty poor resale price thanks to people like me saying nasty things about them on internet forums Wink

Dont worry about the 125/400... It all depends on how you ride her.

If you want a bit more grunt, get the 954 Twisted Evil

If it lowers the resale price won't it be cheap to buy in the first place and not expensive.

If they are all expensive to buy, you look after them, then they will sell on for a similar price.

I'm not saying its an awful bike, Ncarey, just that its pointless.

The only thing it might have had going for it is looks, but to be fair up close they look like kiddies toy sports bikes, far too small.

Their engines are surely reliable, do Honda make crap engines?
And I'm sure the build quality is fair too.

My point is they're way over the pricepoint of buying, say, a new ybr,cg, etc. They won't go much faster, if you drop them you end up with screwed up plastics, and you look like a jeb due to riding round on a "125 sports bike" thats tiny and lacks power.

I'd love you to defend your purchase, I'm intrigued as to what drew you to it.

Edit: Oh, and way to play karma wars, does it make you feel big? Laughing

I bought it because i like the riding position, im not kidding myself by thinking im on a 600 on an NSR or a RS125

It is small because what would be the point in a big bike with the same power

its designed to be a bike in between cbt and test

and its great for that job

and i gave you bad karma...because u deserved it

and people have only complimented the bike when theyve seen it
